In addition to the current bulk pick-up that is provided once a month on Fridays, during the months of May, June, July, and August residents can call the Public Works Call Center at 333-4800 to schedule an additional biweekly bulk pick-up.
Bulk waste pick-ups must be scheduled in advance by calling 333-4800. Residents can call between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Bulk waste items are to be set out after 3:00 p.m. of the day before the scheduled pick-up. City crews begin pick-ups at 7:00 a.m.

Bulk Waste Guidelines:
n You must separate your metal items (stoves, refrigerators, etc.) from other bulk items. Remember to remove refrigerator doors.
n All loose and small items must be securely contained, bundled or bagged for easy pickup.
n Sorry, the City cannot pick up concrete, rocks, brick blocks, sand, gravel, or hazardous waste.
n Yard waste (brush, hedges, tree limbs, etc.) must be tied into bundles not larger than 4 feet long and 18 inches in diameter.
n Bundles are limited to 25 pounds each.
n Remember, the City cannot pick up grass clippings.
Waste Collection Do’s and Don’ts:
n Do have your rollout container or bulk items out by 7:00 a.m.
n Do keep bulk and metal items separated (they're picked up by a separate truck).
n Do place the recycling container or any other items at least 5 feet from your rollout container.
n Do keep yard waste separated from other collection items (it also must be cut and tied in 4-foot
lengths no larger than 18 inches in diameter).
n Do not leave rollout at curb or alley after collection.
n Do not overfill rollout (lid should be closed on rollout).
n Do not place any hot items in rollout (e.g., ashes from fireplace).
n Do not place rollout close to any obstruction (such as an automobile).
n Do not put loose trash in rollout (wrap or bag all trash).
n Do not have trash piled on or around rollout.
