View the Park Shelter Rental List
The City of Dayton has 34 picnic shelters available from May 1 through September 30. These shelters are located in natural settings at the various City parks. Each of the shelters will comfortably seat 25 people, with the exception of Triangle Park Pavilion, which holds nearly 120 people. Water and electricity availability vary depending upon the shelter site. The cost for using these shelters is $50 per day per shelter (the Triangle Park Pavilion is $75 per day). Shelters may be occupied from 9:00 a.m. until dusk.
Reservations can be made by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 333-6463 Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., starting March 1 of each year.
Shelter reservations should be placed on a City of Dayton Special Event Request Form (please read the Special Events Rental Policies as well). The form and a check or money order must be received 14 days in advance. The request and payment should be mailed to:
