Dedication for New Washington Street Bridge
Held Thursday, December 6, 2007

City of Dayton and Ohio Department of Transportation officials joined community and business leaders for a dedication of the new Washington Street Bridge on Thursday, December 6, at 11:30 a.m.

The new bridge connects downtown Dayton and its southern environs to west Dayton and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, a growing corridor of business, healthcare, education and recreation venues. The $7.2 million, 631-foot-long bridge is funded by the Federal Highway Administration, the Ohio Department of Transportation Local Major Bridge Program, the Ohio Public Works Commission Issue I Program and the City of Dayton.
