Richard S. Biehl, Director and Chief of Police
Chief Biehl joined the Dayton Police Department as Director and Chief on January 28, 2008 after serving as Executive Director of Cincinnati's Community Police Partnering Center. He has more than 35 years of experience in law enforcement work. He served on the Cincinnati Police Department from 1980 to 2004 in positions including Officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, and ultimately Assistant Police Chief.
