The Planning Division is responsible for maintaining and updating the zoning, subdivision and other related land use regulatory codes, and provides staff to the City Plan Board, Board of Zoning Appeals, Community & Neighborhood Development Advisory Board (CNDAB) and the Landmark Commission. The division provides technical assistance for long range planning projects; assists City staff in the enforcement of local ordinances and interpretation of City codes, assists in designs for parks, streetscapes, landscapes and other municipal projects. The division is responsible for maintaining the official zoning code & map, geographic data-bases, and the preparation of comprehensive, general, downtown, neighborhood, corridor and transportation plans for the City.
