The City of Dayton Department of Planning & Community Development is hosting the 2010 Regional Neighborhood Network Conference, to be held October 7-9 at the Dayton Convention Center and Crowne Plaza Hotel.
All of the rooms reserved for the conference at the Crowne Plaza Hotel are currently booked. The Doubletree Hotel is the back-up option for hotel accommodations.
Proudly, this is the City of Dayton’s third time as host for the Regional Neighborhood Network Conference. In 1990 and 1999 over 600 attendees participated in the conference; this year we anticipate a total of 500 or more participants from participating communities and the region.
Our theme, Reinventing Neighborhoods, salutes the hard work neighborhood leaders contribute to communities while providing new and creative mechanisms to address some of the major concerns in neighborhoods today. We want to honor neighborhood leaders by providing
support and workshops that will enable them to continue with their efforts and take back a wealth of fresh new initiatives to their communities.
The conference focus is leadership and neighborhood development in Dayton and surrounding communities. Workshop attendees include neighborhood/community leaders, Dayton Priority Board members, school, church and community agency staff, as well as business and government representatives.
The registration fee is $100 per person. See information on how to register or use the online registration link below.
