Through the Human Relations Council, the City of Dayton implements ordinances and programs that provide procurement opportunities for Minority, Female, and Small/ Disadvantaged Business Enterprises under Sections 35.30-35.68 of the City of Dayton’s
R.C.G.O.
For Female Business Enterprises (FBE/female owned and controlled) on an annual basis the city will make available for FBE’s, on competitive bidding, 2% of the total expenditure by the city for the procurement of goods and services. Only FBE’s certified by the Human Relations Council may participate.
