The Division of Housing Inspection is responsible for the enforcement of existing structural maintenance. This enforcement includes structural housing conditions, both interior and exterior, non-residential exterior enforcement, residential zoning, structural and public use nuisance and yard standards. We facilitate the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Dayton through the enforcement of property maintenance codes, education, and by bringing people and resources together.
