Terminal Lobby – Security Enhancement Project at the Dayton International Airport

Project Description

This project provides for the professional services and construction of an in-line checked baggage inspection system (CBIS) to replace the existing explosive detection system (EDS) devices currently located in the Terminal check-in lobby.

The project involves expansion of the Terminal Building to accommodate the new system, installation of conveyor systems and equipment, and construction of a consolidated baggage make-up sortation building.
