Dayton City Commissioner Dean Lovelace urges Dayton residents who feel they may be the victim of predatory lending practices to seek help through various community agencies.
Dayton ranks high among metropolitan areas in the United States for home foreclosures during recent years. Many of these foreclosures can be attributed to predatory lending practices.
"Predatory lending continues to be a serious issue, not just in Dayton, but across the country," Commissioner Lovelace said. "I urge anyone who is in danger of losing their mortgage to contact one of the agencies below for help and advice."
